WORKPLACE WELLBEING EVALUATION
Cigna believes the best way to implement any kind of wellbeing strategy is to first evaluate your current wellbeing programmes and policies. Developed by health and wellbeing professionals, the Cigna Workplace Wellbeing evaluation consists of a guided interview with leaders from your organisation who have the knowledge to build an effective and sustainable global strategy. It then provides a written report developed through a review of your evaluation, as well as your vision and long-term goals. It provides an overview of the current state of your organisation’s health and wellbeing programmes and highlights specific opportunities for infrastructure and programme development.
ONLINE WELLBEING PORTAL
The Cigna Online Wellbeing portal is enabled by Single Sign On (SSO), is secure and confidential and optimised for mobile devices. The following assessments and programmes are available on the portal:
ONLINE HEALTH AND WELLBEING ASSESSMENT:
The Cigna Health and Wellbeing assessment asks a series of questions which establishes the individual's current health status and provides an instant and highly personalised report that highlights areas of strength and areas in need of improvement. The health assessment is validated against the World Health Organization Health and Work Performance Questionnaire and certified by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Data from the assessment can trigger the Cigna clinical team for outreach upon participant consent. It is available in 39 culturally-adapted languages.
ONLINE TARGETED HEALTH ASSESSMENTS:
Four in-depth assessments in the areas of sleep, stress, nutrition and physical activity, each with an instant and highly personalised report to highlight areas of concern and suggested next steps. The assessments can direct participants to relevant online health improvement programmes and to an organisation's other existing health services.
ONLINE LIBRARY:
Access to a wealth of wellbeing articles written by Cigna’s health and wellbeing editorial team and approved by the clinical director, and to various healthy recipes written by a qualified nutritionist. Available in 39 culturally-adapted languages.
ONLINE LIFESTYLE COACHING – MAKE ONE SMALL CHANGE:
Cigna's Make One Small Change programme is an online lifestyle management programme designed to target and improve specific behaviours. Used on its own or in combination with the Cigna Health and Wellbeing assessment, the programme focuses on improving healthy behaviours that are vital to long-term wellbeing. Cigna Make One Small Change programme has been designed to help individuals make a single achievable and meaningful change to their routine every week:
- Every week participants are asked to pick a change to work on and choose the support they want to receive, for example, tailored reminders, check-ins with a virtual helper or social support from friends or family.
- During the week, participants are asked about their efforts and receive support in the format they have chosen.
- At the end of each week, an achievement review helps participants to see their progress towards the health/wellbeing goals they have chosen. They are also rewarded on achieving milestones along the way to better health.
Instead of a rigid programme with a high time commitment, the programme follows a simple but highly customisable flow of tasks for the week.
COMPANY-WIDE CHALLENGES:
Our online challenges are localised according to global standards, run for 4 weeks and are available in 8 languages.
